Liberia: Pres. Sirleaf Heads Delegation to America, Europe
President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf Friday departed the country with several prominent individuals to the United States and Europe.
While out of the country, the President will address the 61st Session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York and the Plenary Session of European Parliament in Strasbourg, France.
The Liberian leaders trip will also include keynote addresses at two Universities in Atlanta and Georgia Tech, and a dinner at a third Atlanta School, Emory University.

China targets Europe and South America as new export markets for autos
Europe and South America are Chinas new eldorado for auto exports. In the first six months of the year, the value of the countrys auto exports to the two regions rose by 520 percent and 117 percent year on year.
The growth indicates that China is expanding into new auto export markets, said Fu Peizhao, a senior engineer with the Automobile Branch of the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products (CCCME).

Austrias Chancellor Wolfgang Schussel, the U.N.s Secretary-General Kofi Annan and Mexicos President Vicente Fox Quesada unanimously hailed the intimate relations between Europe and Latin America in a public statement on Friday.
The economic data show how important the economic cooperation between the EU and Latin America and the Caribbean has become, Schussel told a press conference after the first working session of the fourth EU-Latin America Summit.
