Willis Group Names North America CEO
Global insurance broker Willis Group Holdings Ltd. said Thursday that Don Bailey is the new chief executive of Willis North America.
Bailey, 41, is currently chief operating officer of Willis North America. He succeeds Mario P. Vitale, 50, who moves to Zurich Financial Services as chief executive of global corporate North American operations.
Bailey joined Willis in 2003 as head of North American Risks Practice. He has been COO of Willis North America since March.

Nokia Siemens Networks Names North America Head
While Nokia Siemens Networks will primarily address Europe from its Helsinki, Finland, headquarters, it will establish operations in most major regions of the world. Its scheduled to begin formal operations by the first of January 2007.
Nokia Siemens Networks (NSN) fleshed out its business unit and named regional executives Friday. Mark Louison, currently senior vice president of North America for Nokia Networks, was named to lead the North American region.
Louison has worked across a broad spectrum of U.S. telecommunications in past years focusing primarily on wireless solutions.

ABC names Good Morning America exec
Veteran CBS producer Jim Murphy has been appointed by ABC News as senior executive producer of Good Morning America, bringing a fresh viewpoint to the eternal battle with NBCs Today show.
Murphy was most recently executive producer of the CBS Evening News before leaving late last year.
Tom Cibrowski, who has been working in the control room of Good Morning America for the past four years, was appointed the programs executive producer.

Drew Wilmot has joined Torex Retail North America (TRNA) as a senior configuration consultant and will be an important member of the Compass Planning implementation team. Banc of America Securities ended its coverage of Canadian drug company Biovail Corp. (BVF.TO: Quote, Profile, Research) (BVF.N: Quote, Profile, Research) on Friday after the securities firm was named, with several other parties, in a class-action lawsuit brought by a group of Biovail shareholders.
